01Permitted Use of This Website

This website is provided for the sole purpose of informing prospective attendees about The Confluence and facilitating event applications. You agree not to:

• Submit false, misleading, or fraudulent registration information.
• Attempt to bypass bot-protection mechanisms, honeypot fields, or any security measure.
• Upload or inject malicious code, scripts, or payloads through any form field.
• Scrape, copy, or redistribute website content, branding, or design assets without prior written consent.
• Use automated tools to make bulk or repeated submissions.

02Event Applications and Attendance

Submitting a registration application does not guarantee a seat at The Colloquium or any other Confluence event. All applications are reviewed by the coordinating committee, and selection is entirely at their discretion based on written responses, diversity of background, and available capacity.

If selected, you will receive a confirmation email. You must carry a copy of this confirmation (digital or printed) to gain entry at the venue. Seats are non-transferable and cannot be reassigned to another individual.

The Confluence reserves the right to revoke a confirmed seat if any submitted information is found to be materially false or if the attendee violates the event's conduct expectations.

03Intellectual Property

All design, typography, custom animations, written content, graphics, and branding on this website (including the Confluence wordmark and Colloquium identity) are the intellectual property of The Confluence. You may not reproduce, modify, or distribute any of these materials without explicit written permission from the organising committee.

Short quotations with clear attribution for non-commercial journalistic or academic purposes are permitted.

04Accuracy and Disclaimers

This website is provided on an "as is" basis. While we make every effort to keep event details (date, venue, agenda, and speakers) accurate and current, we cannot guarantee the accuracy of information at all times.

The Confluence reserves the right to modify, postpone, or cancel events due to unforeseen logistics, safety considerations, or circumstances beyond our control. Registered applicants will be notified of any such changes via the email address they provided.

05Limitation of Liability

The Confluence and its organising committee shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss arising from your use of this website, reliance on published event details, or attendance at an event. Our total liability in any matter related to this website shall not exceed zero rupees, as we are a non-commercial, youth-led initiative.

06Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms of Use are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes arising from these terms or your use of this website shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Ahmedabad, Gujarat.

07Changes to These Terms

We may revise these Terms of Use at any time. The "Last updated" date above will reflect any changes. Continued use of this website following an update constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms.
